I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from when cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Psalm 121.
You are my everlasting Father and I your beloved daughter.
You’ve given me another day to rejoice in Your love and glorify Your Name by serving you.
I know You love me ~ not because of anything I’ve ever done~ but simply because You made me. Such knowledge is too great for me, too great to comprehend! You ~ Creator of heaven and earth ~ sent your one and only Son to die for me, so that I can have eternal salvation and a future with You!
Yes, You know me, Lord ~ my hopes and dreams, my joy and despair….
I come to You this morning with an aching heart.
I fall before You.
I have few words because I can’t get past saying Your Name.
So Lord, I fall on my face in silence and whisper your name.
Father God!
Silence.

“I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.’
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him;
It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
Lam. 3:24-25.
In Silence there is solace, because You are always there.
In Silence there is only You, Lord.
In Silence there is comfort.
Your Holy Spirit enfolds me in a blanket of peace.
And I don’t need my words.
And while I’m waiting on You, Lord, I will listen.
And I know You will speak to my heart.
“Speak to my heart, Lord Jesus,
Speak that my soul may hear;
Speak to my heart, Lord Jesus,
Calm ev’ry doubt and fear.
Speak to my heart, oh, speak to my heart,
Speak to my heart, I pray;
Yielded and still, seeking Thy will,
Oh, speak to my heart today.”
Amen.
