Happy Father’s Day…
To the joyous dad, who today holds his first child in his arms
To the gentle dad, whose strong arms daily encircle his children with fierce love and devotion
To the courageous dad, who is separated from his children today by service to his country
To the wounded dad ~ separated from his child by anger, misunderstanding, or unfortunate circumstances..
To the wounded dad ~ separated from his child by anger, misunderstanding, or unfortunate circumstances..
To the overwhelmed dad who can’t find a job ~ and who doesn’t know where to turn..
To the steadfast dad ~ whose child faces daunting challenges due to disabilities
To the heartbroken dad ~ who stands at the bedside of a sick child
To the bereaved dad ~ who stands beside the graveside of his little one
And to all of those cheerful dads who do it all, with few resources and a courageous heart..
To each of you, our heartfelt love and gratitude ~
If you’re a dad who’s having a hard time, there’s help for you. God wants to be there for you! If you don’t know Him, you can be changed, uplifted, guided, and supported by our Heavenly Father, Who wants to meet your every need. I pray that you may come to know Him and that the love and comfort of our Lord Jesus Christ will surround you today and every day. Jesus said, “Come unto Me, all who are burdened and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Open your heart to Him today and let Him become your Savior, Guide and Friend. He waits.
Written for my amazing sons, Tim and Todd, who have shown me just how the best daddies do their jobs…
